Gibbons, Fortman, & Associates designed this 8,000 s.f. prairie style residence with built up landscape for the house to nestle in. The formerly flat site in the South Suburbs of Chicago was sculpted to create a hillside feel.
This Gibbons, Fortman, & Associates project began when the owner’s son gave him a custom leaded glass panel for the entry door. This sparked the prairie style influence and design of this project.
Passing through the entry area of this home, the soaring spaces of the interior are revealed.
Sixty colorful lead glass windows were designed exclusively by Gibbons, Fortman & Associates in collaboration with a local leaded glass artisan.
The entire home features custom millwork designed by the Gibbons, Fortman & Associates. The master bath marble was book matched to create a dramatic composition.
